Campbell's Kingdom background

Campbell's Kingdom

Bruce Campbell, an Englishman, inherits his grandfather's Canadian land, only to encounter a range of obstacles, including hostile locals, a ruthless contractor, a new power dam, and his own declining health.

Bruce Campbell arrives in Canada to claim his grandfather's inheritance, an area on the Rockies known as Campbell's Kingdom. Diagnosed with a short time to live, he seeks a peaceful life at his grandfather's house. However, his plans are disrupted by the construction of a dam that would flood the area. Locals, who lost money believing there was oil, now demand the dam to provide jobs. Bruce discovers a letter from his grandfather claiming oil is present, which could stop the dam. He sets out to clear his grandfather's name and oil claim, facing natural challenges and a ruthless contractor along the way.
