In 1988, Chris Bryson was found naked, beaten, and bloody on a Kansas City street, wearing only a dog collar and leash. He accused Bob Berdella, a local businessman, of capturing, raping, and torturing him over several days. Police discovered a horrific scene at Berdella's home, including hundreds of Polaroid photos, a torture log, and human remains. Berdella was arrested and charged with murdering six young men, whom he met at his shop, "Bob's Bizarre Bazaar", which sold dark artifacts. He would dismember the bodies, use them as meat in dishes, and dispose of them in trash bags.
