In a packed movie theater, animals in human clothes await the film's start. The newsreel "Warmer News" showcases the transition from war to peace, featuring a family's clever use of radar to detect their mother-in-law's approach. Meanwhile, a wolf in the audience falls asleep during the newsreel but awakens when the feature begins. The film "To Have-To Have-To Have-To Have-To Have-To Have-To Have-To Have" stars Bogey Gocart and Laurie Bee Cool, and when Laurie asks "Anybody have a light?", the wolf becomes riled up. He starts whistling loudly and jumps onto the stage, prompting Bogey to shoot him through the screen.
