A quarter-century after leaving to explore Wyoming, Pierre, now 25, returns to reclaim his family farm and rekindle his relationship with fiancée Claire. Two decades pass, and the farm flourishes, accompanied by the growth of the family. Initially, life is filled with joy, but as time progresses, debts mount and Pierre's exhaustion at work takes its toll. Despite the love of his family, he begins to slowly drift away.
