A stork mistakenly drops a baby mouse at the doorstep of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Cat, who are initially unaware of the mix-up. However, when the baby mouse mistakenly calls Sylvester "Daddy", the cat's maternal instincts are stirred, and he decides to adopt the mouse as his own. Unbeknownst to Sylvester, his newfound "son" attracts a swarm of hungry cats to their doorstep, setting the stage for a series of chaotic events.

A baby mouse is mistakenly delivered to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Cat by a drunken stork, leading Sylvester to form an unexpected bond with the tiny rodent and claim him as his son, much to the dismay of other hungry cats in the neighborhood.
