A ruthless landowner, Dyer, acquires ranches by brutally eliminating their owners, while his gang carries out the killings. When Bob Worth stumbles upon the scene of a murder, he becomes the prime suspect, despite being innocent of the crime.

A ruthless landowner buys up ranches, then has his gang kill the owners to collect the checks. When Bob Worth arrives just as one of the owners is murdered, he's wrongly accused of the crime and must flee from the Sheriff. Joining forces with a Mexican outlaw, Golinda, Bob concocts a plan to ensnare the landowner, and Golinda is the perfect partner in crime.
