Ong Kuo Sin, a renowned filmmaker, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-TV-Film from the University of Texas at Austin. Upon his return to Singapore in 1999, he began his career in the entertainment industry, initially serving as the assistant director for the highly acclaimed sitcom School Days.
As his experience and expertise grew, Ong Kuo Sin went on to assume the role of director for the second season of School Days. This marked the beginning of a successful journey in the world of television and film.
Throughout his illustrious career, Ong Kuo Sin has worked on a diverse range of projects, including documentaries, travelogues, variety programs, and dramas. Some of his notable works include Life Stories, Lion Dances, Extreme Gourmet, Seoul Far So Good, Spa Seekers, Behind All Jobs, The Sassy Neighbour, Parental Guidance, and Sayang Sayang.
In 2011, Ong Kuo Sin collaborated with Michelle Chong on her feature film debut, Already Famous, serving as her assistant director. This experience laid the foundation for his future projects, and in 2012, he directed Channel U's highest-rated drama, JUMP!
Ong Kuo Sin's passion for storytelling and his ability to bring characters to life led him to write and direct his first feature film, Judgement Day, in 2013. Two years later, he released his second feature film, Mr Unbelievable. As of 2018, he is in the final stages of post-production for his third feature film, One Headlight.
