Simon Alexander Farnaby is a multifaceted English actor, writer, and comedian born on April 2, 1973. He is widely recognized for his notable roles in various TV series and films.
Farnaby is a long-time member of The Mighty Boosh's supporting cast, appearing in their series and co-starring in the film Bunny and the Bull in 2009. He is also known for his quirky characters in the CBBC live-action series of Horrible Histories, such as Caligula and the Grim Reaper.
Additionally, he has had recurring roles in sitcoms like Jam & Jerusalem and co-starred as eccentric neighbor Sloman on The Midnight Beast's TV series. Farnaby previously had a brief role in Coronation Street in the 1990s.
As a co-creator, writer, and star, Farnaby worked on the family fantasy comedy series Yonderland, which premiered on Sky One in 2013. He co-starred with the same troupe in the 2015 BBC comedy film Bill, based on the early life of William Shakespeare.
