Sayed Badreya is an Egyptian-born film-maker and actor who has achieved his childhood dream of winning roles in major Hollywood films such as The Insider, Three Kings, and Independence Day. Growing up in poverty in Port Said, Egypt, Sayed's early life was marked by the Six Day War in 1967 and the Yom Kippur War in 1973, which made his escape to the movie theater a vital part of his daily routine.
