Biography

Roger Chin, a dedicated teacher, discovered his passion for filmmaking during his education degree, showcasing his creative skills by producing, directing, and editing an educational film.

In his free time, Chin embarked on an extraordinary adventure, sailing across the Pacific Ocean, and upon his return, he presented his captivating travelogue film to various audiences, including a special show at the esteemed Vancouver Maritime Museum.

Inspired by the controversy surrounding California's Proposition 8, which prohibited same-sex marriage, Chin took the initiative to organize the Join the Impact rally on November 15, 2008, and the Day of Decision rally on May 26, 2009, in Vancouver.

These events led to the creation of his documentary short film, LOVE EXILED, which marked his debut at a film festival.
