Noted American actor, Barry Symonds, was born in the charming town of Bristow, Oklahoma, to his loving parents, Nellie (née Barry) and Walter Stout Symonds. His early life was filled with the joys of family and the simple pleasures of small-town living.
As he grew older, Symonds embarked on a romantic journey, marrying the lovely Elizabeth Janel Kaderli in 1952. Together, they welcomed three beautiful children into the world: Victoria, Barry, and Rebecca. Their union, however, was not meant to last, and the couple divorced in 1969.
Symonds' personal life continued to evolve, as he married the talented actress, Priscilla Pointer, in 1980. This union brought him not only love but also a new family, as he became the stepfather to actress Amy Irving and her siblings, David and Katie. Additionally, he was blessed with three children from previous relationships: Vicki Morrison, Barry Symonds, and Becca Wooldridge.
Tragically, Symonds' life came to a close on the morning of August 23, 2007, at the age of 80, due to complications from prostate cancer. Despite his passing, his legacy lives on through his remarkable body of work and the countless lives he touched throughout his life.
