With a plethora of accomplishments in Yosemite, Zion, and Rocky Mountain National Park, Quinn is a formidable force in the world of triathlons, having competed at the highest level, and is also a skilled yoga instructor.
When she's not gallivanting around the globe in pursuit of personal goals, Quinn has worked professionally as a climbing ranger in Rocky Mountain National Park, a coveted position she held alongside only four other individuals, and was the sole female member of the group.
To complement her rescue and medicine work, Quinn taught wilderness medicine courses with Remote Medical International during the winter months, honing her skills in emergency response and treatment.
Tragedy struck in October 2017 when Quinn fell over 30 meters while climbing El Capitan in Yosemite National Park, requiring a technical rescue operation 300 meters above sea level. The incident left her with a spinal cord injury, rendering her paralyzed from the waist down.
Despite this setback, Quinn remains an advocate for an active lifestyle, pursuing her core passions with unwavering dedication. She is the founder of Dovetail Mountain Adventures, a company based in Estes Park that offers yoga and rock climbing workshops and retreats, weaving together the teachings of yoga and physical strength to empower individuals to successfully manage their daily lives.
In 2021, Quinn embarked on an extraordinary journey, traveling 4400 km across the United States on a recumbent bike, a feat that took her from north to south and served as a testament to the disabled community's right to access all outdoor sports competitions.
Quinn's remarkable story has been immortalized in the 2022 film "An Accidental Life," a testament to her unwavering spirit and unrelenting pursuit of adventure.
