Nicholas Gleaves, a talented English actor and playwright, hails from the Halliwell area of Bolton, Lancashire, England, where he spent his formative years attending Sharples School from 1980 to 1985.
This period of his life marked the beginning of his fascination with the world of acting, as his mother, in a moment of inspiration, took him to a play, which sparked a lifelong passion for the craft.
A self-proclaimed admirer of the iconic British rock band, The Smiths, Gleaves is also a long-standing supporter of the Bolton Wanderers football club.
In his personal life, Gleaves is married to the accomplished actress, Lesley Sharp, with whom he shares two sons. The family resides in London, where they continue to pursue their respective careers.
