Michael Jeffrey Gilden, an accomplished American actor with dwarfism, resided and worked in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. Throughout his illustrious career, he made memorable appearances or performed impressive stunt work in a diverse range of television series and films. Some of his notable roles include Charmed, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Family Law, Cybill, NCIS, and the iconic film Pulp Fiction. Additionally, he had a significant role as an Ewok in the beloved film Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Gilden's remarkable career was not limited to acting, as he also pursued a career as a Financial Advisor. In August 1997, he met Meredith Eaton through mutual friends in Atlanta, Georgia. Gilden played a pivotal role in encouraging Eaton to pursue her passion for acting, and she eventually became an actress in 1999. The couple shared a beautiful romance and exchanged vows on May 20, 2001.
Tragically, Michael Jeffrey Gilden's life was cut short when he took his own life on December 5, 2006, at the age of 44. He was found hanging in his Los Angeles home. A private service was held in his honor at Mission Hills, California, on December 10, where he was laid to rest.
