Michael Bonacini, a renowned celebrity chef, co-founded Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants, a prominent fine dining restaurant company in Canada, operating 11 distinct and innovative establishments across Ontario.
Prior to his culinary journey, Bonacini received classical training under the guidance of esteemed Chef Anton Mosimann at the prestigious Dorchester Hotel in London. He then immigrated to Canada in 1985 and formed a partnership with veteran restaurateur Peter Oliver in 1993.
The first collaborative venture with Oliver was Jump, a New York-style bistro. Fast-forwarding 19 years, their operations have expanded to encompass à la carte dining, quick service, catering, group dining, and special events, as well as an artisanal bakery and chocolate shop.
Bonacini attributes the company's success to the cultivation of a robust corporate culture, where the pursuit of excellence in both food quality and service is paramount.
