Mark Kempner's early life was marked by a strong connection to his rural upbringing in Horne, Surrey, where he was born to Bernard Kempner, a farmer and amateur entertainer, and Mary Kempner, a former land-girl. This idyllic setting would later influence his passion for drama, which he nurtured at Michael Hall school, where he excelled in numerous drama classes.
After completing his education, Mark returned to the family farm, where he worked until he met his future wife, Anna, at the tender age of 18. The couple tied the knot in 1982 and went on to have two children, both of whom would follow in their father's footsteps and become professional actors.
Before settling down, Mark took a year-long journey to a Kibbutz in Israel, where he not only gained valuable life experience but also discovered his entrepreneurial spirit. During his time on the Kibbutz, he founded a touring comedy drama group, which would go on to perform comedy sketches at various Kibbutzim. This venture not only honed his creative skills but also laid the foundation for his future career in the entertainment industry.
