Mariela's journey began in Habana, Cuba, where she was born to a rich tapestry of Italian, English, Spanish, and French heritage. As a young and ambitious individual, she embarked on her artistic career as a dancer at the tender age of 13.
As her talents flourished, Mariela relocated to Italy at a young age, where she continued to hone her dancing skills and simultaneously pursue her passion for acting. Her academic pursuits led her to NYC, where she further honed her craft at the prestigious Terry Schreiber Studio and The Actors Studio.
Since then, Mariela has dedicated herself to a career in acting, dividing her time between captivating audiences in TV series and movies in both Italy and the United States. Her extensive repertoire includes the 2017 film "Nightmare Cinema" directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, as well as her role as Elana Marks in the NBC show "Law & Order: SVU" directed by Alex Chapple.
This fall, Mariela's latest cinematic endeavor, "Chi m'ha visto", directed by Alessandro Pondi, is set to hit Italian screens. In this gripping drama, she brings to life the character of Sally, opposite Italian acting stalwarts Beppe Fiorello and PierFrancesco Favino.
