Mariann Mayberry was a renowned American television and stage actress, whose remarkable career spanned numerous years and performances.
As an esteemed ensemble member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois, since 1993, Mayberry was recognized for her outstanding work with a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination for Actress in a Supporting Role in a Play for her captivating performance in Time of My Life. Her talent and dedication were once again acknowledged with a nomination for Actress in a Principal Role in a Play for Hysteria, directed by the illustrious John Malkovich.
Mayberry's personal life was filled with love and artistry, as she was married to fellow actor Scott Jaeck, with whom she shared the stage in the Broadway run of Tracy Letts' Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning play August: Osage County.
Tragically, Mayberry's life was cut short due to ovarian cancer, which took her life at her sister's house in Connecticut on August 1, 2017, at the age of 52.
