Kristen Johnston, a talented actress, began her journey in the world of acting by studying at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York City.
Her impressive career has been marked by numerous awards and nominations, including two Emmy Awards for her outstanding performance in the popular television show "3rd Rock from the Sun" in 1996.
Throughout her career, Kristen has appeared in a wide range of television shows, including "Ugly Betty" in 2006, "ER" in 1994, "Bored to Death" in 2009, and "Sex and the City" in 1998, where she delivered the memorable line "I'm so bored I could die".
Currently, she stars in the hit TV Land series "The Exes", which is now in its fourth season.
In addition to her television work, Kristen has also had a successful stage career, with notable roles in productions such as "So Help Me God!", "The Women", "Aunt Dan & Lemon", and "Love Song" on the West End.
She has also had the opportunity to star in three "Shakespeare in Central Park" productions, including "Much Ado About Nothing", "12th Night", and "The Skin of our Teeth".
Kristen is a long-time member of The Atlantic Theater Company, and has been involved in numerous productions, including "The Lights" and "Scarcity".
Her film credits include "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" in 1999, "Finding Bliss" in 2009, "Bad Parents" in 2012, "Bride Wars" in 2009, "L!fe Happens" in 2011, "Vamps" in 2012, "Strangers with Candy" in 2005, and the upcoming independent film "Lovesick" in 2014, alongside Matt LeBlanc.
In addition to her acting career, Kristen is also a dedicated teacher, and has taught acting at The Atlantic Theater Company's Acting School at NYU.
She has also founded an organization called SLAM, which aims to establish a desperately needed sober high school in New York City.
In 2018, Kristen published her first book, a New York Times Bestselling memoir entitled "GUTS: the endless follies and tiny triumphs of a giant disaster".
