Kelly Adams, born on October 16, 1979, in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England, is a talented English actress. Her journey in the world of acting began with her education at North Kesteven School in North Hykeham, followed by her training at the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in Wood Green, London.
Adams' early career saw her playing the role of Tara Palmer-Tomkinson in a docu-soap about Prince William, before she landed a part in the popular British medical drama, Doctors. She then joined the cast of Holby City, where she played the character of Mickie Hendrie from 2004 to 2006. Her character's ambitious nature led her to leave for Newcastle Medical school to pursue a career as a doctor.
In addition to her television work, Adams has also appeared in various other projects. She played the role of Eve, a servant, in the Robin Hood episode "A Thing or Two About Loyalty" and co-starred with Adrian Edmondson in the BBC Radio 2 comedy show, Teenage Kicks.
Adams joined the cast of the long-running BBC1 drama series, Hustle, in 2009, playing the role of Emma Kennedy, a new member of Mickey Bricks' crew of con artists. She continued to play the role of Emma for two further seasons, with the most recent season airing from January 7, 2011. In one episode of Series 6, Adams played the role of Kylie Minogue, parodying her striking resemblance to the Australian singer.
In 2010, Adams appeared in the film, My Last Five Girlfriends, as Wendy. She also had small roles in the 2009 biographical film, Bronson, about the notorious prisoner Charles Bronson, and the British science fiction thriller, Beacon77, which premiered at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
In her personal life, Adams married her long-term partner, fashion photographer Chris Kennedy, in a ceremony at Hackney Town Hall in February 2011. The couple had previously proposed to each other on a trip to Bruges.
