John is a highly acclaimed, classically trained, and versatile character actor who has been actively involved in the Connecticut theatre scene for nearly three decades. Alongside his wife, Tanya Feduik-Smith, he is the co-founder and artistic director of Vagabond Theatre Company in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, John's primary focus was on stage work, occasionally taking on small film roles as a favor to friends. However, when the pandemic forced the closure of theaters, he made the decision to pivot exclusively to film work.
John's impressive filmography includes his award-winning performance as Bernie in The Woodsman, as well as his portrayal of John Faiella, a lovable and foul-mouthed catcher, in Omnes Films' festival favorite, Eephus. The latter is scheduled for release in theaters in March 2025.
