Jewelle, a talented individual, was born in the beautiful province of Alberta, Canada, and spent her formative years in West Germany, where she was immersed in a unique cultural environment that would later influence her creative pursuits.
As a child, Jewelle's passion for the performing arts was ignited when she auditioned for a minor role in a school production of Anne of Green Gables, only to be surprised and thrilled when she was offered the lead role instead. This early success sparked a fire within her, and she went on to take film acting classes in her teenage years, honing her craft and working with various vibrant groups that received rave reviews for her performances.
Jewelle's love for storytelling and her desire to make a positive impact on the world led her to create a CD titled "Hidden Utopia," featuring seven self-written and produced songs. This creative outlet allowed her to express herself and share her unique perspective with others.
In 2010, Jewelle decided to take her passion for storytelling to the next level by embarking on a one-on-one film-making apprenticeship, which ultimately led to the birth of the new series, Poker Girls. This series was met with critical acclaim, earning a nomination for Best TV Pilot at the prestigious Banff World Media Festival in 2011.
After the re-development and re-casting of Poker Girls, the series was rebranded as "Bluff," and Jewelle continued to push the boundaries of her creativity, co-creating the lifestyle series "UnCaged," which follows outdoor motorbike adventure seekers and features her husband, Rob Colwell, as the host.
Throughout her journey, Jewelle has consistently found her favorite role to be that of an actress, as it allows her to freely explore her various characters and bring her unique energy to the screen.
