Biography

James Seah, a talented individual, caught the attention of many with his captivating good looks and charming personality, earning him a spot among the Top 10 finalists of "Star Search 2010". As a graduate of Nanyang Polytechnic, James consistently impressed the judges with his high scores throughout the competition, despite falling ill with chicken pox and taking suppressant jabs to push through.

After falling short of the top three positions, James was signed by MediaCorp and made his acting debut in the web drama "Let's Play Love" in early 2011, just before enlisting in the army. Following his two-year army stint, James returned to the screens in Channel 5's 2013 blockbuster "Mata Mata", an English drama series set in post-war Singapore.

In 2014, James landed his first full-fledged Chinese drama role in "The Caregivers", a 20-part serial about healthcare workers. The same year, he was cast in his first movie role in "1965", a dramatic thriller that premiered in 2015 to celebrate Singapore's 50th Independence anniversary. James also starred in Channel 5's first long-form drama "Tanglin", a 199-episode series that explores the lives of multiracial and multigenerational families in Singapore.

Apart from acting, James is a skilled digital media designer and enjoys exploring his creative passions, including drawing, photography, and singing. With a positive attitude and enthusiasm, James is striving to make a name for himself in the local entertainment industry.
