Claudio Scarchilli, a renowned Italian film actor, was born on February 10, 1924, in Rome, Italy. He spent nearly a decade, from the 1960s, appearing in a plethora of films, with his most notable roles being in several of Sergio Leone's iconic films.
Scarchilli's most notable contributions to world cinema include his small yet impactful roles in the Spaghetti Western, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, where he portrayed Pedro, a member of Tuco's gang, in 1966. He also appeared in another Sergio Leone film, Once Upon a Time in the West, in 1968, solidifying his place in the world of cinema.
Interestingly, Scarchilli's brother, Sandro Scarchilli, was also an actor and shared the screen with him in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly in 1966.
Tragically, Scarchilli's acting career came to an abrupt halt in 1970, marking his final appearance on the big screen.
