Biography

Brandon Thaxton, professionally known as Director 2Mill, is a multifaceted individual who has made a name for himself in the film industry as a director, actor, and co-founder of the renowned production company, Supremacy Films, based in Atlanta.

His journey in the entertainment world began with his stint as the co-host of the popular teen talk show, Lisa Knight and the Round Table, which aired on the Black Family Channel. Not only did he co-host the show, but he also wrote and contributed to its content, ultimately earning the show a NAMIC Award in 2004 for Best Children's Show.

Brandon's foray into filmmaking began during his high school years, where he appeared in notable projects such as Diary of a Mad Black Woman, ATL, and The Gospel. As he delved deeper into the world of production, he found himself drawn to the technical aspects of filmmaking, which led him to pursue further education at Miami University of Art and Design for two years.

Following his stint at Miami University, Brandon returned to Atlanta to continue his studies at the Art Institute of Atlanta, where he honed his skills for one year. In 2008, at the age of 20, he made his theatrical directorial debut with a production of Yellowman, marking the beginning of his journey as a director.

Since then, Brandon has worked on numerous projects, including independent films and music videos. His impressive portfolio includes directing the 48 Hour Film Showdown, which was broadcasted on Halogen TV and went on to win the award for Best Film. He has also directed the short film, Eros, which received distribution through Dish TV and Comcast.

In recent years, Brandon has worked on projects featuring notable artists such as 2 Chainz, Dillon Sacks, and D Woods, which have aired on MTV2 and MTV Jams.
