Alberto Rodríguez, better known by his ring name Alberto Del Rio, is a Mexican professional wrestler currently signed to WWE. With a remarkable career spanning multiple promotions, Rodríguez has established himself as a formidable figure in the world of wrestling.
Before joining WWE, Rodríguez competed under the name Dos Caras, Jr., showcasing his skills as both a mixed martial artist and luchador in Mexico and Japan. He gained significant experience in Mexico's main wrestling promotions, including Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL),where he held the prestigious CMLL World Heavyweight Championship title.
As a member of one of the most renowned Mexican wrestling families, Rodríguez is the son of the legendary Dos Caras, nephew of Mil Máscaras and Sicodelico, and cousin to Sicodelico, Jr. and Hijo de Sicodelico. His younger brother, Guillermo, is also pursuing a career in WWE, competing under the ring name Memo Montenegro.
The name Dos Caras, which translates to Two Faces, is a nod to the symbol of a double-headed eagle featured on his mask.
