Bianca Aguilar, a talented young actress from Buenos Aires, is torn between her career and caring for her schizophrenic father, Miguel. She is tempted to join a stage play, Insomnes, after being approached by Krasso, assistant to renowned dramatist Alma Böhm. Despite initial doubts, Bianca accepts the role and joins the cast, including her friend Cecilia, at an abandoned psychiatric hospital outside Buenos Aires. Under Alma's direction, the actors undergo a sleep deprivation process, pushing themselves to new thresholds of perception. However, this experiment leads to a series of hallucinations and delusions, revealing dark secrets and evil energies that threaten to destroy them.
