On a dark night, a family of musicians meet aquatic sirens Silver and Golden by the water's edge. The sirens, who promise not to eat them, join the Figs and Dates band at a neon-lit Warsaw dance club. Silver falls for the bassist Mietek, while Golden struggles to control her bloodthirsty nature and fears her sister's relationship will ruin their dream of swimming to America.
