In ancient China, a legendary treasure known as the Chicken Cup is stolen by a group of ruthless treasure hunters. The only survivor of the original Jin Guard who protected the Cup is He Xingyun, who has been in hiding for centuries. When the Cup reappears at an auction, He Xingyun's son-in-law, Li Moxun, discovers his true identity and becomes his disciple. As they work together to protect the Cup from the treasure hunters, Li Moxun learns that the Cup holds a deep secret and that his master's injuries are a result of a fierce battle with the hunters.
