In the midst of riot-torn Northeastern India, Indian Army Sepoy Tarun Chauhan receives orders to report to Havaldar Mohammed Ali. As he navigates the region, he witnesses sporadic violence and casualties on both sides. His group is attacked by terrorists who leave a dead body with a cut ear as bait, leading to Tarun's first kill. The team is then sent to Bengal to counter Naxalities, where Tarun faces action immediately. As war breaks out between India and Pakistan, they're tasked with guarding a bridge in Kargil, where Tarun must confront his greatest challenge and prove himself as a true soldier or risk his life.
