Claire and Teddy, owners of the popular Superhost Vlog, review lodgings for their subscribers. However, their subscriber count is dropping rapidly, and Claire is desperate to avoid relying on her parents for financial support. When they rent an isolated woods house from Lou and Betty, Teddy plans to propose to Claire. But upon arrival, they discover a series of strange occurrences, including a malfunctioning security code, a lack of cell phone signal, and the sudden appearance of their host, Rebecca. As they settle in, they find the house equipped with surveillance cameras and Rebecca's eccentric behavior raises suspicions. When a window is broken, they're confronted by Vera, a host from a previous review, who accuses them of damaging her business. But Rebecca intervenes, and things take a dark and sinister turn.
