Stroszek

Bruno Stroszek, a former prisoner, struggles to make a living as a street musician in Germany, but finds a new lease on life when he befriends a down-on-her-luck prostitute, Eva. Together, they leave their troubles behind and start anew in Wisconsin, where Bruno works as a mechanic and Eva waits tables. However, the harsh winter environment and financial struggles ultimately take their toll, threatening to destroy their fragile sense of hope and promise.
