Liz Evans, a resident of Carmarthen, South West Wales, launches a campaign in the 1990s to preserve her local cinema, the Lyric Theatre. With the support of local politician Richard Goodridge, she secures a special premiere of Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park to be held at the Lyric, in a last-ditch effort to save the beloved cinema.
