In this nostalgic comedy, a group of friends join forces to save their beloved roller-disco from closure, showcasing the power of teamwork and the magic of staying true to oneself.

Wealthy parents, Lillian and Roger Barkley, neglect their teenage daughter, Terry, who secretly hates playing the flute and dreams of a different life on the Venice Beach boardwalk with her friend Lana. Terry meets Bobby James, a talented roller skater, and they form a connection while preparing for the roller boogie contest at Jammer's rink. However, their relationship is threatened when a ruthless developer, Thatcher, tries to force Jammer to sell the rink, putting the contest and everyone's future at risk.
