In a small community, a mysterious series of brutal animal attacks prompts Sheriff Jim Tanner and his deputy Barbara to investigate. Their search leads them to Dr. Hyde, a former military researcher who was working on a dinosaur cloning project that was abruptly discontinued due to lack of government funding. However, Hyde managed to secure foreign backing to continue his research, prompting the Pentagon to dispatch a team to rescue Tanner and Barbara and put an end to Hyde's sinister experiments.
