Pepe, a kind-hearted ranch foreman, is heartbroken when his beloved stallion Don Juan is sold to a struggling Hollywood director. Determined to reunite with his "son", Pepe heads to Hollywood, where he gets into a series of misadventures due to his limited English skills. He meets Suzie, a tough and angry waitress, who is hired as the lead for the director's new movie. As Pepe travels between Mexico and Las Vegas for filming, he falls in love with Suzie, but their relationship may be threatened by the director's plans.
