A middle-aged antique dealer, François, is shocked to discover that his acquaintances don't truly like him, finding him arrogant, self-centered, and harsh. To prove them wrong, he makes a bet with his business partner to produce his best friend, and in his search, he meets a charming, trivia-loving cabby named Bruno. Despite their vastly different personalities, François convinces Bruno to teach him how to make friends and learn the "three S's" of sociability, smiling, and sincerity.
