Nandan Kumar, a newspaper printing press worker, struggles to make ends meet with his wife Lata and son Ayush. One night, he stumbles upon an abandoned suitcase full of cash while returning from his shift. He hides it in his neighbor's house, unaware that the suitcase belongs to MLA Patil and was abandoned during a shootout between rival gangs. With the newfound wealth, Nandan leads a lavish life, keeping the money a secret from his family and others. However, MLA Patil soon dispatches Inspector Kolte to retrieve the suitcase at all costs, as it contains crucial information about land grabbing.
