Klondike background

Klondike

Dr. Robert Cromwell's life is turned upside down after a groundbreaking surgery goes horribly wrong, resulting in the patient's death. As he faces criminal charges and a sensational trial, the public's perception of him hangs in the balance.

A doctor, cleared of malpractice charges, joins a friend on a flight to Alaska, but their plane crashes and he's rescued by a fur trapper. He's nursed back to health by a girl who works at a trading post, where he's asked to perform a life-saving operation on the girl's fiancé, who's suffering from the same disease that killed his last patient.
