Blake, a 17-year-old aspiring fighter, loses his mother in a car accident and is forced to live with his estranged father, Ruben, in Miami. Ruben owns a struggling dance studio where he meets Pia, a talented dancer competing in the Holiday Spin, a Christmas Eve dance competition with a $50,000 grand prize. After Pia rejects Rob's advances and he cheats on her, Blake begins dancing with Pia and they decide to compete in the Holiday Spin together.
