The great warrior Hercules returns from battle to find his lover, Daianara, lost to her senses. The oracle Medea reveals that the Stone of Forgetfulness, hidden in Hades, is Daianara's only hope for recovery. Hercules sets out on a perilous quest for the stone, accompanied by Theseus and Telemachus, unaware that Daianara's guardian, King Lico, is behind her condition and seeks to marry her once she's revived.
