Three high school friends, Eric, Dustin, and Matt, embark on a summer road trip to pursue their dream of becoming professional skateboarders. They attend a skate demo tour and meet Jimmy Wilson, a legendary skateboarder, but are unable to get noticed by him. Undeterred, they form their own skate team, Super Duper, and launch a road trip from Chicago to Santa Monica, encountering various misadventures along the way. They meet professional skateboarders and skaters, including Bam Margera and his crew, and eventually make a name for themselves in the skateboarding world.
