A group of friends gather at a beach cottage to celebrate a birthday in 1967, unaware that a horde of flesh-eating zombies is approaching. The zombies, created by toxic mosquitoes, are made up of gay men who were previously alive. As the friends try to survive the zombie onslaught, they must also deal with personal struggles and relationships.
