John, a small-town Illinois cop, regains consciousness in a public bathroom after a wild night at The Red Party. He flashes back to his past, when his captain suggested he move to Los Angeles for a more sympathetic environment. John moves in with his cousin Tad, who's documenting the gay circuit party culture, and becomes entangled in the sex and drug-fueled world of the scene.
