A U.S. Marshal named Britt MacMasters returns home to find his 12-year-old son Chad kidnapped by outlaws Jed Blake and his gang. Britt enlists the help of an Indian guide named Chaska and a prejudiced deputy named Clay Tucker to rescue his son. As they journey into Sioux territory, they face many dangers and brutal attacks. The outlaws, led by Jed, are determined to kill Britt and Chad, but the boy proves to be a formidable opponent. In the end, Britt confronts Jed in a final showdown to save his son.
