A young Sikh man from Toronto, Rajvinder Singh, follows his passion for hockey despite his father's disapproval. He faces ridicule from mainstream players and friends, who encourage him to play traditional Sikh sports instead. Rajvinder forms his own team, "Speedy Singhs," with the help of a coach who can't pronounce their names. They challenge the reigning champions and struggle to make a name for themselves, all while dealing with family pressures and bullying.
