Border City Rustlers background

Border City Rustlers

A western action film comprising two episodes of the "Wild Bill Hickok" series, condensed into a single feature-length movie.

In 1953, the US had more homes without TV sets than with, so Newhall Productions combined two episodes of The Wild Bill Hickok TV series into a 60-minute feature film. The movie follows Wild Bill and his deputy Jingles as they arrive in Green Springs after the mayor's murder. They help the new mayor, Hepsibah, prove that the local judge is behind the town's terror. The duo then heads to Border City to take down an international cattle rustling gang, aided by Consuelo and Ramon.
