In southeastern Brazil, an 18-year-old boy named André lives near an aluminum factory in the industrial city of Ouro Preto. After a fatal accident, André is sent to collect belongings from the home of the deceased worker, Christian. During his visit, André discovers a newspaper detailing Christian's life, marked by poverty and social oppression.
