On Porky Pig's farm, a hen named Miss Prissy is desperate to prove she's a good layer. When one of her friends paints her name on an egg and places it in her nest, Prissy is overjoyed and refuses to give it up.

Miss Prissy, a hen with limited cognitive abilities, is desperate to prove her fertility. When her fellow hens intervene, painting her name on an egg and placing it in her nest, Prissy mistakenly believes she's laid the egg and fiercely guards it from Porky's attempts to collect it.
