At an elite New England boarding school, an outcast student named Kathy is left in a coma after being hit by a car in a cruel prank gone wrong. Meanwhile, a new student named Eva takes over Kathy's old room and becomes friends with some of the girls who were involved in the prank. Unbeknownst to Eva, Kathy is using her as a pawn to exact revenge on her tormentors from her hospital bed. Kathy's doctor, who is also Eva's love interest, is oblivious to the situation and begins dating Eva, who starts targeting his latest girlfriend.
